Sick Days,
Me and the kids are sick today so that means nothing but movies and soft comfy blankets. The weather is terrible today as well so it makes it easier for us to just hunker down and get better.
Sophia is growing up way to fast. She has started doing the imaginary play and it is so funny to hear what she comes up with. She loves babies and everything girly but also has this crazy love for cars. She loves to play with them, make all the sounds, and drive them over Ryan and Sadie. What are crazy little bug she is turning into. Ryan is still a little stud and is become more and more mobile. He can roll over on both sides but doesn't really like to. He makes the cutest little faces and loves to flirt with any girl he can find.
We're going to Denver to see my parents for a week in March and I can hardly wait. I am getting really nervous as well though because we are driving and being in a car with two small kids for 10 1/2 hours kinda makes me want to poke my eyes out. But I am hoping that it will be a fun little adventure, if we make it there in one piece.

My parent's used to pack us all up and take us to Iowa from Houston once a year when we were really little. It's a 3 day trip and I don't know how they did it either. My mom said she basically just turned around in her seat the whole way and sang to us, played with little stuffed animals to get our attention etc. She said that she would bring lots and lots of snacks to keep us at bay. And she said there were many many times where they would just roll down the windows and change the diapers there in the back of the car while driving on the highway. You do what you gotta do! I believe in you! YOU CAN DO IT!
